About
A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter; whoever finds one has found a treasure Sirach 6:14

My faith was nurtured at a young age by my loving catholic parents. As the middle of five siblings my family made Sunday mass a priority. I was fortunate to go to catholic high school and then to a Jesuit university. After college I would receive the sacrament of holy matrimony and began raising my three sons in the faith. But life became busy with them. I was getting distracted and not sure how to fit everything in but I found out later that God multiplied my time when I chose to spend it with him. So, on the prompting of a friend, I attended a weekend retreat at church (which I was always too busy for in the past) and it was incredible. I relearned all about the Eucharist, the graces we receive from it and how it is Jesus present in us. My soul was getting nourished and flames of love for my faith and our Lord were getting stoked. Fellow parishioners whom I’d seen for many years were now becoming friends. The more I put myself out there, the more God doubled the amount of time in my day. I could still be a mom, wife, business owner and make time for God. I was rediscovering my faith and having fun in the process. I started a monthly prayer group, took trips to religious destinations (right in my backyard) and I finished the foundational study for Women of Grace. All ways to deepen my relationship with God and I shared it all with my family and friends. Thus began the kernel of an idea that became Faith-Filled Finds.
For my own part, I hope that the experiences I have gathered in a 30-year career within the media and communications industry will help make this site both effective and inspiring to each of you who visit.

I was raised as one of five siblings in a loving catholic family that was blessed with parents who made our faith a priority. During college and into my early twenties, I did not prioritize my faith, but rather my career path. I only reprioritized that faith, after getting married and having children, as I wanted to raise my two sons in the Catholic faith. But truth be told, my focus at the time was mainly on the faith my sons developed and not on my own. But, 10 years ago, as I left Sunday mass, I was drawn to a sign-up table for a Foundational Study class sponsored by Women of Grace.
This nine-week class transformed my life! I came to realize that blessed Mother Mary had been trying to get my attention for years to direct me to embrace a more complete faith in God the Father, Jesus his Son and the Holy Spirit. Thus reignited, I have been “on fire” every day to spread what I absolutely know…That living our vocation enthusiastically is faith-filled FUN!
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the one bringing good news, Announcing peace, bearing good news, announcing salvation, saying to Zion, “Your God is King!” Isaiah: 52:7
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God. It is not from works, so no one may boast. For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared in advance, that we should live in them. Ephesians 2:8-10
